This is to announce with pleasure that on 26 March 2015 INSB Class signed an agreement governing the delegation of statutory certification services for vessels registered with the Samoa International Maritime Authority (SIMA).

The Greek ship classification society, International Naval Surveys Bureau - INSB Class and Turk Loydu, Istanbul signed on Friday 06 March 2015 a Memorandum of Cooperation for common work on technical and technological fields.

INSB Class is pleased to announce the release of its updated Part I "Classification & Survey Requirements" - January 2014 of the INSB Rules and Regulations for the Classification and Construction of Steel Ships.

The STCW Convention and Code as amended by the Manila Amendments (2010) contain new requirements regarding security training. This training is required by all personnel employed or engaged on-board ships to which the ISPS Code applies.

The new Convention that sets out seafarer's rights to decent living conditions and standards of work applies to all ships and will enter into force as from 20 August 2013.
MLC 2006 is set as the 4thpillar in the international maritime regulations (together with SOLAS,MARPOL and STCW).
